Peace Garden

Peace Garden

Central to and supporting the work that I do is my garden. It’s hard to believe that only a few years ago the outside space was totally slabbed with no visible soil.

As I began my conscious re-connection to the divine mother, nature, the elements and the sacred kingdoms of Gaia, the garden was born.

It has since become my haven. I feel a daily resourcing from nature and the elements and so much devotion to our amazing giving planet.

This Garden has bloomed into a living Altar that I feel such love and reverence for.

We interrelate energetically on a level that is difficult to describe. Of course it was an easy decision to locate Nadas’ healing room and Shala overlooking the flowers, trees and plants. So that others can also enjoy the benefits, beauty and natural healing of nature as the Garden works with them too.

Re-connection to Gaia has been so crucial  to my own healing process that I feel it merits its own page here. The incredible therapeutic value of the natural world and gardening is so very close to my heart. Beyond that, I feel,  just to sit quietly outside, alone absorbing and interacting with Nature is really all the yoga many of us need. To remember that not only are we a human being in a human society, but we are also a part of nature’s kingdoms too, is key.

We are all Children of Gaia - ‘If we take one step towards her, she will run a hundred steps to catch us.’  This has been so very true for me.  My love for her is fierce, as is her love for me. As is her love for all her children. I truly feel the first step towards re-balancing our existence on this planet is rooted in the remembrance of, and returning to our divine nature. And we can only do this  through rekindling each individual connection to the divine nature of Gaia..

My journey of ‘landing and ‘re-connection’ has been extensive and pivotal. I feel so many of us live a life ‘ungrounded’ and this can make 'inner stillness' impossible and lead to lots of unseen stress on the system. As this was the case for me for many years. I feel modern living has caused a kind of separation anxiety in so many of us. When we feel a unity through the heart with our planet Home, everything softens.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to returning to, remembrance of, and staying connected to Gaia. I feel as her child, and stewardess this is a sacred relationship, that needs careful tending, as all do.

All of the work here at Nada is underpinned by my prayer,

"For the remembrance and returning of humanity's sacred relationship, with the self, one another,
our beautiful mother Earth and all her divine kingdoms"
